Stena Recycling AB

Stena Recycling is a Swedish-based company that provides sustainable waste management and recycling services to businesses and communities.

This was a truly wonderful multidisciplinary project. I was working across development, design, and research. Our team was tasked to produce radical designs, solutions, and experimental applications for Stena's focus on the circular economy and recycling.

On the development side I was working as principal web developer on a range of proof of concept applications — working primarily with react-based ecosystems, building out applications from the ground up, using NextJS and off the shelf consumer cloud solutions, such as Notion and Google Sheets, to rapidly deliver experimental solutions that were cost effective, targeted and customer focused.

On the design side, I enjoyed exploring powerful and engaging ways to present Stena's data through interactive infographics and graphs. I also enjoyed working on producing a focused design system which we could use to prototype UI designs for television, desktop, tablet, and mobile.
